I don’t know about you, but I just love free shit. I sign up for every free download I can get my hands on. And some of them are crap, but some of them are awesome! So I thought I’d share a few of my favorite freebies with you to get your March off to a great start!
Please note that I am not compensated or sponsored in any way by Canva, Lost Type Co-Op, Font Squirrel, Unsplash, or Gratisography. None of the links below are affiliate links, I just love telling people when I find cool stuff!
Favorite Free Program
Canva! Duh. Unless this is your first time on my site, you probably know I’m obsessed with Canva. (And if it is your first time on my site, welcome!!! Hi, I’m Emily, and I’m obsessed with Canva!) Canva is a web-based design program that’s perfect for bloggers, business owners, and anyone who wants to create eye-catching images but doesn’t want to spend a whole bunch of time learning how to be a designer.
Favorite Free Canva Templates
I’m always a sucker for love notes, but especially in February, right? Check out this cute and simple template:
This one is super cute–swap out the photo for one of your own and put your message in the bubble!
And did you know Canva has calendar templates? Me either until just recently! So shout out to my Hive members–Wendy who asked about this and Jacqui who found the templates! This is my favorite because it’s adorable and has room to write projects for the month! (Ok raise your hand if you still raid the school supply section of Target every fall, even though you’re a grown up now.)

Favorite Free Fonts
Megrim – Doesn’t this have a cool, architectural look to it? It’s free to use in Canva and free to download from Google fonts.
Allura – good, free script fonts are hard to come by! Allura is elegant, but easy to read. And it’s well-designed so you don’t get awkward spacing or letters joining up in weird places. Free to use in Canva and free to download from Fontsquirrel
Calafia – If only marriage was legal between a human and a font… I am loving Calafia by Neil Secratario SO MUCH. He’s a left-handed font artist, which gives this brush script an extra unique look. This awesome font is available on the Lost Type Co-Op which works on a pay-what-you-want basis. So you can technically download it for free (but if you love it, you should really throw a few $ toward the artist so he can keep making cool fonts!)
Favorite Free Course
It’s not too late to make 2018 your best year ever. I love this free, 5-day course from Racheal Cook! *note: I am an affiliate for Racheal Cook because I love her stuff SO MUCH! This course is free, so it doesn’t cost you anything and I don’t receive any compensation for recommending it. But I like to have all the cards on the table.
Well, lovers, there you have it! 11 of my favorite free things around the internet this month! Is this something you’d like to see more of? Let me know in the comments!
Love these freebies! I am obsessed with canva for sure!
So glad you love them Dijana!
Megrim is my jam!!! It’s totally my logo font!
Isn’t it awesome Dianna?! And so funny–I was just on facebook and saw Astro Artistry as a suggestion on the sidebar and my first thought was… “Hey! That’s Megrim!!!” and then here’s your comment! Haha I love it!
